hello everybody i have been trying to setup vvveb on a linux based server running hestiacp but having problems installing it du to write and acces errors i tryed it on a nginx basic setupto got it running but only if i give everybody full acces to the main folder ... grrr rights,rights,rights my main goal is to get it working with the wel nown hestiacp

question is there anybody who did this already or nows the basic setup to do it or has a script so it can be installed true the internal app install function of hestiacp or could point me to a tutorial that can be modded slightly so it works whit vvveb

Hi

To install Vvveb with Hestia control panel unzip the attached zip Vvveb.zip to /usr/local/hestia/web/src/app/WebApp/Installers/ on your server.

You should have /usr/local/hestia/web/src/app/WebApp/Installers/Vvveb/VvvebSetup.php after unzip.

Then you will see Vvveb in the Quick Install App list like in the screenshot.

Your still the best it installed with no problems going to test it

one question i now its still beta is there a way i can help you by sending logs etc ,
I noticed that when i set some setting involving theme's and plugins language's it sometimes trips out and returns page not found or wont save at all .
i am not rich but are willing to do some active testing etc i am thinking of maybe make a install tutorial on hestiacp because it's realy easy in use . let me now

Thanks for helping, currently there are many known bugs and unfinished features that I'm working on.
Plugins and themes marketplace and language configuration are not finished yet.

Beta version with the finished features for public testing will be released next month, I will announce the release on the blog.
The next step is to write the documentation, once finished and pushed to github pull requests with additional info like tutorials to install on control panels like Hestia CP will be welcomed.

I wil give it a go doing the hestiacp install , i was really surprised i managed to get a B rating on gtmetrix on this setup chapeau

The html and css are not minified and images are not optimized, after the theme is optimized the rating will be higher.

Sorry i was pleasantly surprised i compared to other big company websites and your cms scored realy high comparing witch is great nowing it is running on a pi4 with a 700mbit fiber connection . I am aready realy happy , keep it up

If you need even more performance, you can enable page caching from env.php

define('PAGE_CACHE', true);

With page cache enabled you will get the same speed as static html because the page is served directly by the webserver bypassing php completely.

If you are using apache you only need to have .htaccess support (it is usually enabled by default).
For nginx you need to configure it using the included nginx.conf.

Page cached is disabled during beta to make testing easier but it will be enabled by default after release.
