In certain conditions, the documents displayed in the Docs view appear twice.

(migrated from SF bugs#143).

due to a bug in the enumeration code, packages that had multiple versions installed contributed multiple versions of the devices/boards/books to the definitions.

this affected not only the list of books, as initially reported, but also the list of devices & boards in the C/C++ Settings -> Devices window.

fixed since 3.4.1.201704251102
