Feature Description

I'm using issue refs as pointers to for example fix release etc and I've noticed they could be improved in several ways with regard to "clickability".

It's hard to visualise without hover effect but if you look at my sample issue:

2023-03-31-12-12-21

The "wiktor referenced this issue 12 seconds ago" line has everything clickable, 3 links, very nice.

Compare that with the ref line: "wiktor changed reference from refs/tags/v0.1.16 to refs/tags/v0.1.15 now" only nick is clickable.

Improvements possible:

  • refs in bold should be clickable, if they are refs to tags take the user to tag view, if they are to branch take the user to branch tag,
  • timestamp should be clickable just like in the "issue ref" case.

I'd be happy to work on this if you think my proposal is OK. If you have better suggestions I'm all ears too :)
