Add a branch protection rule to prevent merge commits to be pushed to branch. Pull requests can only be merged with Squash merge or Rebase. The repository setting should allow at least one of this merge methods if this branch protection setting is set.

This would avoid doing normal merges of pull request by mistake, if a workflow with e.g. squash merges is used.
