Ampersand (&) in tags makes is difficult to delete the tag

If a tag contains ampersand (&) you cannot easily delete the tag by clicking on it and hit the delete button.
Example: Egg & Bacon
The tag name is HTML encoded when rendered in the input field and thus Egg & Bacon is displayed. Hitting delete results in nothing because there is no tag with the name Egg & Bacon.
If I manually change the name to Egg & Bacon and then hit delete it works as expected, the tag is deleted.

Grails 2.2.4, crm-tags 1.2.3.
