Duplicate: #11658

I wanted to check if there were still no plans, and no possibility of getting the standard crypto libraries certified for FIPS 140-2.

There is explicitly no statement regarding FIPS 140-2 compliance, but you might find this branch interesting: https://github.com/golang/go/blob/dev.boringcrypto/README.boringcrypto.md

The status of FIPS 140 for Go itself remains "no plans, basically zero chance". The dev.boringcrypto branch is suggested as something of potential interest for those who care about such things.
