Some dictionary formats (MDict, AARD, etc) allow to embed any HTML content, and sometimes that HTML content is not a valid one. There are dictionaries out there that have unclosed tags in HTML.

This breaks GoldenDict's presentation, making some cards (sometimes unrelated to the broken one) look bad (at least, in Modern and Lingoes-Blue themes).

It would be nice to have some way to clean-up the articles and at least to make sure that the HTML is well-formed, and all the tags have their closing counterparts.

For Example:
GD-tags

In this particular case, the first dictionary (WordNet 2.0 in MDX format), contains unclosed font tag that breaks up the CSS styling afterwards.
