Scorekeeper Sample App (Solution Code)

The Scorekeeper application keeps score for any game involving two teams. The user can increment or decrement the score for each team using simple Button views.

Pre-requisites

For this app you should be familiar with:

  • Creating and running apps in Android Studio.
  • Creating and edit UI elements using the Layout Editor, XML, and code.
  • Adding onClick functionality to a button.
  • Updating views at runtime.
  • Adding menu items with onClick functionality.
  • Passing data between activities using Intents.
  • Defining a style.
  • Applying a style to a view.
  • Applying a theme to an activity or application both in XML and programmatically.
  • Using drawable resources.

Getting Started

  1. Download and open the app in Android Studio.
