Further information: It crashes on the initial setup screen, before setting up any accounts. Tapping on "Set up account" on this first time install-screen will suicide the app.

A temporary workaround is to enter Menu -> Set Up Account and do it from there instead.

More info required.

Is this the opensource version? At what commit?

This is the App-store version. Sorry, but I couldn't find any other places. Is there anywhere I can get a hold of a newer APK? :)

I have a Galaxy S5, running latest stock update. App version 2.49.

Pasting canned response:

The version in Google Play is not the same as this opensource version. They've diverged. This opensource version is also unlikely to end up in the play store. This open source version doesn't get much love, but I'll accept well-written pull requests.

That said, you are free to build an APK yourself from this opensource version, and (IANAL and not in authority to give blessing, but my understanding is that) you can put that APK in the play store under your own name.

As for filing bugs with the play store version from Google, you can probably send feedback from within the app, or push a button somewhere on its play store page. It may appear that it's going into a void, but it's not.

Much obliged. Sorry to have taken up your time, this problem has been around for a year, so one ends up trying everything. :)
