For French speakers, the suggested extension .ivg will remind them of "IVG", which is the acronym of "Interruption volontaire de grossesse", meaning "Abortion".

I just wanted to share for awareness.

Thanks for the note. Do you have an alternative suggestion or are you just spreading awareness?

Onl raising awareness.

ivg would be consistent with "IconVG", I guess I wonder if "IconVG" should be renamed.

"CompactVG"? (.cvg)

They were generated by a simple program using
https://go-review.googlesource.com/c/exp/+/332989
in the golang.org/x/exp/shiny/iconvg repository.

Issue #4 discusses File Format Versions 0 and 1 (FFV0 and FFV1). The new
Ellipse opcodes in FFV1 mean that there is no longer any distinction
between "low" and "high" resolution forms of the action-info icon.

Issue #30 discusses changing the file extension from ivg (for FFV0) to
iconvg (for FFV1).
