Thanks for the report! I can see how this is confusing. I'll update the example to not use unexpected regular expression syntax and also note that it _is_ a regular expression and suggest other files that match.

also , I hava some other questions .
When I try to filter out the incorrect log files using the template_bak.mtail, I find that it doesn't take effect

and also ， at the same time, I output the log information to the console

finally， I see from metrics that the meta.log file is indeed not filtered out

I think ,when I use getFileName() method filter some log file , I only can see '/soft/canal/logs/pandora-pandora/pandora-pandora.log' in the metrics 。 moreover ，'pandora-pandora.log' file hava some error message,I use '/Exception/{}' this method , I also can get error log file row count or error log count(mtail_log_watcher_errors_total).

so , can you help me solve this problem，thank you!
