Is it possible to use or-tools in python to solve quadratic MIP?
If yes, How? otherwise, I would really appreciate it if you could point me towards a solver that does so.

Hi,
Cbc seems to support QMIP
and OR-Tools embed Cbc BUT we don't wrap this part -> OR-Tools don't support QMIP

So try to use directly Cbc or an other solver...

I was reading the docs trying to figure out exactly the same thing. Is it worth making it clearer in the doc the "MIP" actually means MILP?

Not sure about what is standard. I have heard people just use MIP to mean MILP, but I think it is better to clarify. Thanks!
