Coremark and Dhrystone are commonly used benchmarks in performance evaluation for MCUs.
Since perf_counter provides the means to measure the CPU cycles, it is convenient to include the coremark and dhrystone in the perf_counter cmsis-pack, so users can run those benchmarks by just clicking the component in the RTE configuration.
