Filter issues MUST NOT be reported here. Read first: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md

Now bitblock deleted from main subscription list.
This filter was extremely necessary for users of Russian sites
"fanboy" lists do not always work correctly and do not contain a complete list of edits for Russian-language sites,
some of these subscriptions even break down the sites.

Now bitblock deleted from main subscription list.

Release notes:

For whoever has one of the removed list selected, it will be moved to the "Custom" section (i.e. converted into an imported filter list).

Ok, so it was moved to the custom list.

I can't endlessly add filter lists to the stock filter lists, everybody is asking me to add their favorite, and this just leads to bloat. I have to stick to only what is essential. There is a link aside RU AdList which lead to a page with more optional lists, this is better this way, because not only BitBlock is discoverable there, but it discuss more lists and other tricks regarding blocking.

But chinese annoyance list is still in the regional section, so what are the differences? Bitblock is no more "dangerous" than the rest of annoyance lists. It did not bother anyone, it was removed with reference to one questionable statement from the list. Besides, Bitblock is actually able to work without RU AdList.

gorhill, Not all users installing ubo are equally advanced
most install the addon and do not know about the settings, working "as is"

in other words, if you do not dig in the settings, do not go to the developer's links, then you can not learn about the super-useful bitblock and what happens
not everyone can add third-party subscriptions manually, especially if I do not know where to get them

Time. I have to look into all these lists to weight whether I want to keep them there or not. This takes time.

There is a link in the "3rd-party filters" pane to a wiki page, which links to a filterlists.com.

I am not going to add all the lists at filterlists.com to uBO's stock lists.
