Menu Bypass allows for some menus to be use strictly for organizational purposes and not displayed to the user. When the bypass is enabled, users will be redirected to the first page of the menu instead of the menu itself.
_menuBypass (object): The Menu Bypass attributes group contains the settings for this extension.
_isEnabled(boolean): When enabled (set totrue), this menu will be bypassed and users will be redirected to the first page in the menu.
When installed in the authoring tool, a Menu Bypass option will appear on pages, but enabling it will have no effect (by design).
Additionally, if a bypassed menu is the entry point to the course, it may behave undesirably.
