Archive of the dotfiles that I used for work between 2008 and 2012.
Since then I worked in a place where everything happens over RPC. The shell is relegated to minor role for build and test and a few high-level CLIs, with no benefit to maintaining fancy dotfiles.
Pull the repo to ~/.conf (for example) and run "./setup.sh install".
This will insert include lines to reference defaults from ~/.conf for the following files:
- .bash_aliases
- .tmux.conf
- .screenrc
- .inputrc
- .vimrc
- .hgrc
This script does not overwrite any files, except for ~/.nanorc, for which a prompt is given.
To uninstall, run "./setup.sh uninstall", which reverses everything done by "./setup.sh install"
