github action cannot trigger another github action (when using secrets.GITHUB_TOKEN

🤦 ok that is super good to know!

There is more: when using actions/checkout@v2, the is basically overriding the token because it persists secrets.GITHUB_TOKEN by default 🤷🏼

GitHub support suggested to add persist-credentials: false, I'll give that a try. Maybe it can be worked around in the code, too, I'll have a look
