Here is the lesson folder.
I started a presentation file here. You can take from there.

[why?] This lesson aims to contribute with participants that enjoy drawning, taking photos, illustrating etc. It is also meant to help those that do not know how to do it, but are interested in learning basic techniques. It is important that everyone think about what are the advantages and difficulties on doing SciComm with images, and what we need to pay attention to concerning information and accessibility.

[how?]
This is the basic outline of this lesson:

  • Why do SciComm with images?
  • How we can communicate scientific information with images?
  • What are the main precautions we have to take to ensure accessibility?
  • What are good examples of SciComm done with images?

You can help by creating fancy slides in Google Presentations using our template, making an activity roadmap in a md in the folder or in Google Docs using our template, gathering resources in a md file in the folder (or here in the Issue) or giving feedback here in the issue.

Please, consider taking a look at our tips on making our lessons more accessible.

[what?] An 8h lesson on how to communicate science with images.
