support org.scala-sbt:zinc_2.11/2.12 in scala plugin #3435

https://docs.gradle.org/current/userguide/scala_plugin.html - seems to indicate that gradle uses the deprecated com.typesafe.zinc:zinc jar.
This has been superceded by org.scala-sbt:zinc_2.11/2.12 (1.0.3 is latest version).
http://www.scala-lang.org/blog/2017/11/03/zinc-blog-1.0.html claims big speed improvements.
The package names seem to have changed so trying to use zinc 1.0.3 fails with this error (gradle 4.1):
Execution failed for task ':compileScala'.
