Allow monospaced font for legends #8304

It would be great to see this implemented in tables in general. Not just in table legends. |
Rather than using a whole monospace font, we could solve this using tabular numbers, which is supported by our font. 6583_2023-12-05-17-24_firefox.mp4I'll leave it with the @grafana/dataviz-squad folks to see what they think of this, and how broadly we could apply it. |

is there still no way to make numbers appear as monospace? |
We've just merged in an update to our font files to enable this. We can't enable this for all of Grafana, especially as many visualisations have custom text rendering, but we'll look at turning this on in specific places where it makes sense. That'll be prioritised against other work that's going on 👍 |
The issue is still open - I'd really like to use monospaced fonts in all my tables + legends... Is there any workaround yet? |
I'm using table legends a lot for series identified by a fixed length alpha-numeric ID.
It would be nice to be able to use a monospaced font for series name in a table legend so that all these IDs are aligned, and same for hover legend.
Here an example:
