Describe the bug :

In 4.0.1 when using a v4 API to consume kafka topic for which snappy compression is enabled, the following error is raised :

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.xerial.snappy.Snappy

The snappy lib dependency apperas to be missing in the 4.0.1 image

Desktop :

  • Environment: 4.0.1
  • Browser [e.g. chrome, safari]
