Build Status

An example of bi-directional communication using WebSockets with Ratpack.

This example starts a simple chat room application that allows users to join and chat together via websockets.

Running the Example

The example can be run using the following Gradle command:

$ ./gradlew run

Once the application has started, open two web browsers and point them to http://localhost:5050 to access the application. Type a name for each user in the upper-right textbox and click the Connect button.

Once both users are connected you should see each user in the Users box and you may begin to chat.
