Describe the bug
Exception:
IDE Error Occurred
This plugin is not a production of JetBrains. Please report the problem

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1.Click on Update Project

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ububtu 16.04
  • IDE and version: PyCharmCE2019.2
  • Version 0.10.8

Thanks for reporting the issue. I'll attempt to get PyCharm on Ubuntu to see the logging errors.

I installed PyCharmCE 2029.2.1 on Ubuntu, and I didn't encounter any error that prevented the plugin from installing.

There might be a setting in PyCharm that prevents non-JetBrains plugins from being added, and that might generate this error.

If there was an actual error message reported, such as reported by the red "!" icon in the lower-right, would you please post it? If you can't find that error, it might have been sent to the log file, which you should find at $HOME/.PyCharmCE2019.2/system/log/idea.log

If you click on the red ! icon, the IDE will present you with an error, including a Java stack trace. Please attach that to this bug report.
