Keyboard shortcut to put focus on bottom text box. #204
Comments
Seems reasonable. I'm not sure exactly how exactly to implement that in GTK. If somebody could come up with a PR, that would speed this up! |
Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with GTK. Was hoping it was an easy thing to add. |
It probably is, if one knows how! ;) |
We had a similar shortcut for the fork of the old gtimelog. https://github.com/gocept/gocept.gtimelog/blob/master/src/gocept/gtimelog/gtimelog.glade#L70-L77 It actually deleted the last entry in the timelog and switched the focus to the input field. I cannot guarantee, whether I have time to tinker around with it during the next week. |
This issue was fixed in #213, I think it can be closed. |
Unless I'm missing something, there doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut that puts cursor focus on the bottom text box.
Adding such a shortcut would be ideal to make it quicker for adding a time entry entirely with the keyboard.
I propose the shortcut combo should be Ctrl + L to be consistent with other applications such as the browser or nautilus.
Thanks for making such a helpful app.
