after 92 commits (https://github.com/guardianproject/haven/releases/tag/0.2.0-RC-1), since the last "release" ...

when do you tag the next release (to get updates into F-Droid & co ...)

Soon is the hope; It's done after careful consideration by @n8fr8 and the team at Guardian Project

Working on a getting a new sprint and release going again... that said, for those looking on this ticket, we did push a beta release over the summer:

I had a few android apps approved that use notifications in the time since this was flagged. I have to believe it’s possible to get native alerts back by way of appeal.

If we’re honest, this sensorkit is completely outdated and built on top of an even older app. The redundancies have become immensely difficult to work around. Video and still images will always be in a buggy state if we don’t fix the underlying issues of the Camera API and implement native functionality over third party libraries.

Libsignal takes some doing, and seems Nate gave it a shot but hasn’t revisited the implementation. Exploring new milestones for the sprint is an opportunity we shouldn’t miss.

A couple of years have passed, and still no new releases.

What's the issue here?

Adequate funding for open source software seems like a reasonable guess answer to that question!
