Thanks for letting me know. Sadly, I've next to no time for maintaining any of my OS lisp libraries but I'll try to remedy this and update whats needed at common-lisp.net. thanks again, |
Hi @gwkkwg would you mind moving this repository to the organization I've just created to take care of great Lisp libraries that people still care about but don't receive required maintenace? The organization is https://github.com/lisp-projects Thanks! |
Hi Victor,
I’d be happy to do so if you tell me how :-).

Hi @gwkkwg, I've never done it before too. So all I've got is a Github help article. Also I've invited you to join the @lisp-projects organization and apparently you'll get an e-mail soon or can visit the https://github.com/lisp-projects to accept the invitation. Further instructions are in the Help section Transferring a repository owned by your personal account. Please let me know if there are any issues. With best regards and many thanks for your great work, |
@gwkkwg sorry, I've just found out that there is already an organization doing exactly that: @sharplispers. Since it is better not to fragment the community let me ask them if they'll accept Thanks, |
Okay.
Thanks for doing this.

Since it is better not to fragment the community let me ask them if they'll accept log5.
Thanks,

@gwkkwg I've sent a pair of e-mails and would also like to try contacting the @sharplispers team via Github mentions. Hey @arbv, @binghe, @dkochmanski, @luismbo, @nikodemus, @sionescu, @slyrus, @xach --- would you like to accept the LOG5 library to the @sharplispers organization/project? Thanks |
Yes, definitely. |
Feel free to initiate the transfer of the repository to the sharplispers organization and I can approve it posthaste. |
Hi Victor,
Sorry for my slow response; I’m a bit buried.
I just tried to make the transfer and github told me "You don’t have the permission to create repositories on sharplispers” so either I did it wrong or something else needs to happen.

You went Settings -> Transfer ownership -> sharplispers and you got that error ? We might be able to work around this by adding you to the sharplispers org. |
Hi @sionescu IIRC the user initiating the transfer should have "repository creation" rights in the organization that he is transfering his repository to. BTW, could you please add me as the member? I'd like to do things that we did for @edicl : create a github pages site for the organization and also restore documentation for log5. |

Yes, that’s right.

The website for log5 on common-lisp.net appears to be down. I also can't find any documentation other than the source code.
