Introduction

An Android application for helping users to locate the best in-door Wi-Fi source nearby.It requires the user to take a trip around the tested area. Best Wi-Fi names and associated heatmap will then be provided after the trip. Overall, this application is able to collect, save and visualize Wi-Fi signals in heatmap format.

  • Programming Language: Java, XML
  • Vision Control: GitHub
  • IDE Software: Android Studio Version 3.3.2, SQLite 3.28.0
  • Device: Motorola moto e4 plus with Android system
  • Package: Maps SDK for Android, Google Maps Android Heatmap Utility, Place API, etc.
