When Java is not configured on the machine properly and we try to run sparkling water, we get miss-leading message such as:

You are trying to use Sparkling Water built for Spark 2.1.0, but your $SPARK_HOME(=/Users/kuba/programs/spark-2.1.0-bin-hadoop2.7) property points to Spark of version /Users/kuba/programs/spark-2.1
/Users/kuba/programs/spark-2.1. Please ensure correct Spark is provided and re-run Sparkling Water.

Even though the properties are correctly set
