Updated is not for when the <thing> was updated, it is when the repository was. #2441

Once you need to update, the state of the update entities changes.

SO, you're saying that although it was updated yesterday, because there was no new version released there was no updated but it tells me that there was an update to the repository anyway? Why do I need to know this? I've been trying for hours to figure out how things were auto-updating but it turns out that the Updated column is just misleading.
