I have recently upgraded plyr to version 1.8, and it seems like combining ddply+idata.frame+summarise is no longer worker as before. For example,
ddply(idata.frame(baseball), 'year', summarise, g = max(g))
will now throw the following error:
ddply(idata.frame(baseball), 'year', summarise, g = max(g)) Error in max(g) : invalid 'type' (closure) of argument
Anyone has the same problem?
