Is it possible already? |
It will be done soon. Since we will use this feature for auto-testing in the coming version 1.4. |
Is this an issue for a cli only client ? |
@tobeportable, Yes, a cli only client. |
Done |
I've been trying this with https://github.com/haiwen/seafile/wiki/Seafile-CLI-client but it seems i need to have the rest api enabled in someway. |
Yeah, need server version 1.5, will be available in next week. |
This is so great. On Wed, Feb 20, 2013 at 5:56 PM, freeplant notifications@github.com wrote:

You don't need to fork the wiki. The github wiki is editable for everyone. |
Will it be possible to compile it for a linux machine without xorg? |
OK. A compilation option will be added. |
Thanks!

You need server version 1.5. A new REST api is added to the server which is need by the seaf-cli. We will not publish a stand alone seafile cli client. If you need an seafile cli without Xorg, you have to compile it your self. |
As it is right now the seaf-cli is just an executable python file that serves as a cli, why would you need to compile this anyway... |
Seaf-cli is only an interface to Ccnet daemon and Seafile daemon, which are written in C. |
