I cannot find the upgrade script from version 3.1 to the newly released 4.0, which I expected to be here.

Hi Calrama, version 4.0 is not ready yet. You can wait until we release a stable version.

@freeplant I understand. They are, however, tagged as stable (no "-testing" suffices for the git tags) and thus I have already updated the Archlinux User Repository packages to 4.0.0 based on that (before I read your reply). I have used the minor upgrade script instead when testing the packages and there where no problems so far.

If 4.0 is not ready, why in download or in the changelog there is no warning, or a "beta" or a "rc" tag?
