Hello. First of all, thank you for creating this useful and awesome software; and I appreciate the choosing of GPLv3 license.

  • I have a suggestion, could you add a little "question mark (?)" button in the software and have definitions for some technical words in there? Because I had to lookup these words in order to have a proper translation:

Static
Mask/Unmask
Generated
Enabled-runtime
Context switches (in process details)
Unit file state - Preset (in services)
After/Before (in services) => After or before what?
Sub-state

Memory (RSS)/(VMS)/(Shared)
Memory (USS)
Read Data
Write Data

Boot VGA
Multi-featured system monitor. => "Multi-featured"?

Terminate vs Kill process

So I assume English users might find these terms confusing.

  • Another suggestion, could you implement a way to change languages "manually" ?(not dependent on OS language)

  • Could you add links to GitHub profile for translation credits in README?

  • Could you add this for "how to translate"? Maybe some people (like me) don't know about Poedit.

  • How can I get notified of changed/new strings? other than "Watching" this repo for any commits. Could you create an issue or discussion for updates on translation and tag all the translators? This way we all get automatically subscribed to that issue and when you post something there, we'll know.

Thank you.

This information may be added in a file in the project folders and a link may be add into README file.

This feature may be added in the newer versions of the application. But it works if selected languages are installed on the system. On many cases it will work for English and system language (two options). For example, if ABC language is selected from the application settings and ABC is not installed on the system it will not work.

Could you add links to GitHub profile for translation credits in README?

Names are written in the about dialog of the application. Do you want to see them in the README file?

Could you add this for "how to translate"? Maybe some people (like me) don't know about Poedit.

This information may be added.

Could you create an issue or discussion for updates on translation and tag all the translators?

This way can be used for notifications of large translation changes.

Good

But it works if selected languages are installed on the system. For example, if ABC language is selected from the application settings and ABC is not installed on the system it will not work.

So even if your application does have ABC language strings but the system doesn't have ABC language; it wouldn't work?

Weird, I have never heard of this behavior before.

Names are written in the about dialog of the application. Do you want to see them in the README file?

Yes, I'm aware of that. I was thinking you could consider mentioning them in the README. For example by linking the language name to the translator's GitHub profile.
