click the + button to add a new note, once you start typing a save icon will appear, click the save icon to save your note and the note title will appear in the left column. click a note title in the left column to bring up the note

The following necessary dependencies must be installed to run the application properly on your local machine:
download the repo, run npm install then npm run start. If you would like to deploy it to heroku refer to the heroku documentation: https://devcenter.heroku.com/categories/reference
