New in v0.1.1

Besides detecting objects in binary or semi-binary images, AdipoQ Analyzer can now also detect objects in label images, as generated by AdipoQ Preparator from version v0.2.0 on when using StarDist for segmentation.

Label images display individual objects as patches of a specific intensity level / color and thus, objects can be distinguished even when they touch each other.

Left: Raw image of DAPI-stained nuclei. Middle: Label image output by StarDist (adjacent nuclei can be distinguished). Right: binary image (adjacent nuclei cannot be distinguished).

With this new feature, a new setting is introduced in the main settings dialog, where it needs to be specified whether the input segmented channel is binarized or a label image:

Label image Analyzer
