Welcome to the haproxy wiki! This wiki tries to address most of the commonly asked questions and to help new users to start more easily with safe, efficient and future-proof setups.

If the type of setup you're looking for is not documented here, it would make sense to start a discussion about your use case with the community on the public mailing list. Alternatively if you managed to build a setup that you think would be useful for many other users, and are willing to document it, your contribution here would be welcome!

Note: this wiki is a restart from scratch of the old architecture manual. The content being progressively rewritten, it is expected that a lot of information will be missing as long as this note remains present here. You have been warned :-) If you are interested in participating to this rewriting work, please have a look at the proposed plan first.
