Problem description

The primary objective of ACM0002 is to provide a structured approach for grid-connected electricity generation from renewable sources. This policy applies to grid-connected renewable energy generation project activities that include:
(a) Construction and operation of a Greenfield power plant; or
(b) Retrofitting, rehabilitation (or refurbishment), replacement or capacity addition of an existing power plant.
Further, the policy applies to grid-connected renewable energy generation project activities which integrate Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to a Greenfield power plant or to an existing solar photovoltaic or wind power plant.

Requirements

Development of the policy with all details mentioned in the design schema.
Tools involved in this policy also needs to be developed. The tools are listed below:

  1. Tool 01- Tool for the demonstration and assessment of additionality
  2. Tool 02- Combined tool to identify the baseline scenario and demonstrate additionality
  3. Tool 03- Tool to calculate project or leakage CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion
  4. Tool 05- Baseline, project and/or leakage emissions from electricity consumption and monitoring of electricity generation
  5. Tool 07- Tool to calculate the emission factor for an electricity system
  6. Tool 10- Tool to determine the remaining lifetime of equipment
  7. Tool 32- Positive lists of technologies

Definition of done

  1. Completion of Designing of the Schema and getting it approved
  2. Development completion of the policy
  3. Testing the policy
  4. Documenting the policy with step by step execution process with screenshots
  5. Publishing the policy i=on testnet and generating IPFS timestamp

Acceptance criteria

  1. Working of the digitized version of the policy
  2. Documentation completed and published in Main branch
