Problem description

The primary objective of AMS-III.F. is to provide a structured approach for avoidance of methane emissions through composting. This policy comprises measures to avoid the emissions of methane to the atmosphere from biomass or other organic matter that would have otherwise been left to decay anaerobically in a solid waste disposal site (SWDS), or in an animal waste management system (AWMS), or in a wastewater treatment system (WWTS). In the project activity, controlled aerobic treatment by composting of biomass is introduced.

Requirements

  1. Designing of the Schema and getting it approved.
  2. Development of the policy using Schema
  3. Development of all the tools involved in the policy
    • Tool 03- Tool to calculate project or leakage CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion
    • Tool 04- Emissions from solid waste disposal sites
    • Tool 05- Baseline, project and/or leakage emissions from electricity consumption and monitoring of electricity generation
    • Tool 13- Project and leakage emissions from composting

Definition of done

  1. Completion of Designing of the Schema and getting it approved
  2. Development completion of the policy
  3. Testing the policy
  4. Documenting the policy with step by step execution process with screenshots
  5. Publishing the policy i=on testnet and generating IPFS timestamp
