Remote-Exec capturing output from Inline Commands

Hello I have been trying to figure out a way to capture the output of a command that I run inline so that I can use it as input to another provider. So being able to put output into a variable. Can this be done?

Hi @afurlani24,

Unfortunately there isn't any way to capture the output of a remote-exec.
The closest I can think of at the moment is scripting something using the "external" provider.
