The short repository name is chosen to allow short urls of the form hayd.github.io/s/slide_name
.
At the moment this is a hack to use remark.js with git-pages. Slides require:
- a directory of the slide's name
- an
index.html
(mostly this is boilerplate, the meta-title is changed) - a
content.md
, the slides with markdown content (in remark syntax)
As the number of slides increase this will become unwieldy. It would also be nice to generate a contents page. If anyone has any thoughts on generalizing this then please drop me an email/issue.
Now I think about it, one solution is to just use jekyll to do all of this! (But perhaps there's a cleaner way.)
