to take care of that.I made this for my own use, and thought it might be nice to share in case someone else would benefit. It is deliberately very minimal, so to change the settings you need to change the actual script. I don't want to bloat it out by adding easy user configuration, I have been caught before trying to extend bash scripts and it always ends up a bad idea.
It would be a nice add-on to be able to send commands like 'cargo run` to the other terminal windows using Helix keyboard short-cuts, but I will leave that for now.
I have tried to make is POSIX compatible, apparently
read -p
is fine, but Shellcheck moans about it.I would be interested if anyone has any different approaches to what this script does... no crufty multiplexers! :)
