Keeps on restarting and no log file

Hi, I had the software running previously successfully ob my Cerbo and now wanted to reinstall in order to enable a 2nd DTU.

I amended the config, tried a couple of times, but now I can't even get the first DTU up and running again.

Unfortunately there is not even a log file created under /data/dbus-opendtu/current.log

Any advice?

Try starting the script on the console manually with py or python + script name.py

Should be python dbus-opendtu.py

You will see the output on the console

In your config there is no NumberOfInvertersToQuery option set. This is why it won't work.

Thank you, that fixed it. Strangely it was working beforehand without it.

To include the 2nd DTU I just have to copy the folder and amend the config.ini, right?

I'm glad you figured it out. :-)

Just copy and paste the project folder with a new name. Adjust your config to your needs and start/ install the service :-)
