Highstock: Zoomed range increases when moving the range without resizing it #1370

  1. Open http://www.highcharts.com/stock/demo/data-grouping
  2. Click 1w in the range selector buttons
  3. Click repeatedly on the arrow left next to the scrollbar.
  4. Observe how the zoomed range keeps increasing, becoming more than a month after a while.

Yes, that's it. The behaviour now should be:

  • Ordinal axes: The pixel width of the navigator's zoomed area is constant when moving. The zoomed values on the X axis depend on whether the selection is crossing a weekend gap etc.
  • Non-ordinal axes. Both the pixel width and the value width of the zoomed area is constant.
