MedicalTextClassification

This repository contains my project which is "Medical Text Classification ". Oshumed collection of data was used for this project .You can download it FROM HTTP://DAVIS.WPI.EDU/XMDV/DATASETS/OHSUMED.HTML Text calssifation was done by two techniques - SVM, and KNN(k nearest neighbour). Accuracy obtained from Svm was higher than KNN . For preprocessing on text we used NLTK python library .
