ubuntu-gnome-lockscreen-background-changer

Changes the default dark purple color/noise image from lock screen to a color and a image the user specifies

Tested Devices

  • Ubuntu 17.10 64 bit (Xwayland)

Usage

  1. Grant execution permission using Terminal
  • sudo chmod +x ubuntu-gnome-lockscreen-background-changer.sh
  1. Edit bash script
  • Change color hex code
  • Change image file path
  • Save the script
  1. Run the script using Terminal
  • sudo ./ubuntu-gnome-lockscreen-background-changer.sh
  1. Logout and log back in to see the changes
