Here is the screenshot of htop and iStats gem. CPU Temp values are different. It's weird

What version of htop and OS are you running?

@hishamhm

OS X 10.11.2
htop 0.8.2.8 (installed with homebrew)

htop 0.8.2.8 is a very outdated fork (it diverged from the official htop codebase more than 6 years ago). Please try compiling the latest code in this repository and report back. Thank you!!

Thanks I will do that.

I guess somebody should update the homebrew library. I'm assuming this https://github.com/Homebrew/homebrew/blob/master/Library/Formula/htop-osx.rb

Having the same problem. Temperature was working perfectly until updating to macOS 10.12.1 and running brew update. Now the Temp is stuck at 129.0. Anyone else?

The latest htop is available in Homebrew as brew install htop (not htop-osx). Though the official version does not currently have support for measuring CPU Temperature, it has lots of other bugfixes.
