Logical Model: intended performer #131
Comments
WG: duplicate of #132 |
In a national standard?
This means tha if there is a valid prescription where the physician doesn't
know or care about the intended performer, this prescription can never be
exchanged.
Isn't there any, not even one, use case where intended prescriber is not
known?

The opinion of RIZIV/INAMI (as expressed in document #128) is that a referral prescription has no sense if the discipline or specialty of the caregiver referred to is unknown. In the system as conceived here, the prescription would not be retrievable by a caregiver (a caregiver has only access to prescriptions addressed to his discipline/specialty). This does not mean that the person must be known to whom the patient is referred to. The patient has the free choice to choose a caregiver, but at least he must know to which specialty/discipline his GP refers him to. |
