"Autostart" option missing in Preferences.

The "Autostart" option can no longer be found in "Preferences" > "General".

CopyQ 8.0.0

  • Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04
  • Wayland

How (from where) did you install the app?

From both the app store and the official site.

The Debian packages in releases (https://github.com/hluk/CopyQ/releases) and in Ubuntu PPA (https://launchpad.net/~hluk/+archive/ubuntu/copyq) have built-in support for autostart. The option should be visible there. I don't see a way it can be hidden in these.

The option is only disabled/hidden for Flatpak because in that case, autostarting should be in desktop environment.

Windows version supports setting autostart only from installer (#1925).
