iOS 8.0 + VoiceOver cannot pass skip to content link

Running a service under iOS 8.0+ using the accessibility tool VoiceOver cannot pass the skip to main content link. Clicking this assumes it's worked as intended however the voice over technology stops.

@anthonymunene I could test this on a prototype yes to determine if it's gov.uk template.

@adamconder could rule out potential points of failure by copy/pasting the relevant markup into a new HTML page without styles or scripts. See if that works, add styles, test again, add scripts, etc. etc.

@rpowis As dicusess I've tested this on my service again and seems to be a non issue now, also tested it with gov.uk template in a prototype. This seems to be working as intended.
