## Introduction The goal of LAS2peer is to provide a framework for developing an d deploying community oriented services in a peer-to-peer infrastructure. The focus of the project is flexibility. Within LAS2peer it is possible to host a stand-alone web-service on a single machine as well as join a large P2P network of collaborating nodes within you GUI application. For service developers, this structure is hidden for the daily work and should not affect the process of middle ware development more than necessary.
LAS2peer started as a project out of a diploma thesis at the RWTH Aachen University.
